My heart belongs to summer. Long, sunny days anoint me with their energizing beams and open my eyes to the miracle of life before me. There is no need to travel miles to discover the wonders of our world. I become a sojourner in my own patch of Earth.
Through my camera’s eye, I’ve witnessed the poetry of summer. Mostly, I’ve been spellbound by the light as it casts its shadow across the lawn or reveals specks of dust floating in the air. Specks that were otherwise invisible. As a traveler, I see things that I once took for granted.
